Are You Ready For More Blue Steel? Reading and Vocabulary

Did you like “Zoolander”? Good, then you’ll like “Zoolander 2.” Director, co-writer and star Ben Stiller resurrects his “really, really, ridiculously good-looking” male model alter ego 15 years after the first movie overcame disappointing box office results to earn a cult following on DVD.

There are plenty of great celebrity cameos in the sequel from Sting, Justin Bieber, Anna Wintour, Billy Zane, Tommy Hilfiger and Kiefer Sutherland.

The movie closely follows to the 2001 original enough that it can’t help but please audiences. Instead of a plot about male models Derek Zoolander (Stiller, still believably dim-witted) and the one-named Hansel (Owen Wilson, still hilariously dim-witted) foiling the assassination of a world leader, it has a plot about two male models foiling the assassination of Zoolander’s son, who is believed to be the key to eternal youth.

Instead of Zoolander’s “blue steel” look, we get his “Aqua Vitae” look, which he created for an ad campaign featuring him as a half-man, half-cow who moans in ecstasy as he is milked.

Sounds like a good time to us. Are you excited to see Zoolander 2?
