First there was Coachella, now it’s Bonnaroo! These are fun words, no?

What? What is the Bonnaroo festival?

The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is an annual four-day music festival similar to Coachella. Main attractions of this festival are the multiple stages of live music, featuring diverse musical styles. It began in 2002.

Where? Where is it held?

It’s held at Great Stage Park on a 700-acre (2.8 km²) farm in Manchester, Tennessee.

Who? Who goes to Bonnaroo?

Hipsters, music lovers, media, musicians, young people and celebrities all attend. According to Wikipedia, in 2014 the Bonnaroo had an aggregate attendance of 90,000 people.

When? When is it held?

The festival typically starts on the second Thursday in June and lasts four days. This year the dates are June 11–14.

Which? Which musicians are playing this year?

There are many musicians and bands. Headliners include Billy Joel, Mumford and Sons, Florence + The Machine, Hozier and Deadmaus among many others. Get the complete list here.

Why? Why go?

Why not? It’s an opportunity to hear great music, make memories, meet people, experience a live music festival, the biggest reason, just like Coachella, …you only live once. And you’re only young once! Live in the moment. Make memories!

How? How do I attend?

Tickets are sold at Bonnaroo.com. 2015 tickets are sold out. General Admission tickets were 300-325.00 US dollars. VIP Packages are also sold out.

Each ticket  buyer to Bonnaroo 2015 will receive a high security wristband with a uniquely coded chip  inside. Every wristband will be scanned as attendees enter & exit the festival site, as well as the Centeroo and Main Venue areas. Pretty awesome.
