The Late Late Show With James Corden welcomed singing queen Britney Spears to the show’s signature Carpool Karaoke on Thursday night. The Grammy Award-winning artist and Corden had a field day as they drove around Los Angeles blasting Spears’s greatest hits.
While most of the previous musicians on Carpool Karaoke sang loudly, the modest Spears was happy to let Corden and the song tracks do most of the heavy lifting.
She mostly laughed along while Corden sang her hit “Toxic,” before they both sang “Womanizer,” “Baby One More Time,” and talked about wanting more kids (but she doesn’t believe in marriage anymore). When asked how many more, she replied, “Three more.” But the queen of pop said there was one caveat, “I need to find a guy first, and then, you know.”
Spears’ ninth studio album features her latest single, “Make Me” featuring G-Eazy, and earlier releases “Private Show,” “Do You Wanna Come Over?” and “Clumsy.” Spears will commemorate the arrival of Glory with a long-awaited return to the VMA stage on Sunday, where she’ll make the live TV debut of “Make Me.”
