Comedian Chris Rock is no stranger to controversy. This time it came in the form of a selfie.

“Stopped by the cops again wish me luck,” he posted on Instagram early last Tuesday along with a photo showing him behind the wheel of a car with what looks like blue police lights in the background.

He posted similar photos in February when he was pulled over.

Many African-Americans have long bemoaned the phenomenon of being pulled over for no obvious reason, calling it “driving while black.” African Americans are about 30% more likely to be pulled over in the US by the police than white people, according to figures reported by the Bureau of Justice Statistics in 2013.

He got lots of support on Twitter from fans.

It wasn’t all support for Rock. Isaiah Washington didn’t feel sorry for him. The Grey’s Anatomy alum tweeted at the comedian to “adapt” to racial profiling after the latest incident.

“I sold my $90,000.00 Mercedes G500 and bought 3 Prius’s, because I got tired of being pulled over by police,” Washington wrote. “#Adapt @chrisrock.”

Rock hasn’t commented on the tweets and didn’t say how the police stop ended. The comedian has taken a selfie and posted via Instagram each time he’s been pulled over.
