Derek Jeter Goes Dutch in Italy. Reading and Nationality Practice

Ladies, what do you think about this? The 40-year-old uber rich Derek Jeter and his 25-year-old girlfriend of nearly a year, Hannah Davis, were recently in romantic Rome, Italy, enjoying a summer Italian getaway, when they went dutch on the tab according to The New York Daily News.

Jeter has made hundreds of millions playing baseball for the Yankees  and Davis pulls in about $5 million a year modeling.  It was reported they made out and ate pizza near the Spanish Steps in Rome. Then they asked to split the bill, and each paid with their American Express Black Cards. Those card are only given to people who charge more than 250,000 a year. We think he can afford some pizza, no?

So what do you think? Is this an example of a modern romance or is Jeter a cheapskate? Would this bother you?
