While Johnny Depp has been promoting his band Hollywood Vampires, fans couldn’t help but notice something different about his tattoos.
The 53-year-old star looks to have changed the tattoo across the knuckles on his right hand from “slim” to “scum.”
“Slim” was his estranged wife Amber Heard’s nickname in happier times. The pair are currently embroiled in a contentious divorce battle.
This isn’t the first time Depp has had to rework a tat after a split. In one of the most famous tattoo rewrites of all time, Depp only had to delete a couple of letters to change “Winona Forever,” which he inked on his shoulder during his three-year engagement to fellow actress Winona Ryder in the early ‘90s, to “Wino Forever.” That tribute to alcohol still remains today.
