Johnny Depp injured his hand while in Australia to film”Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” which is the fifth “Pirates” movie.
It was reported the injury did not happen while on set. The actor has been filming on Australia’s Gold Coast for the past month and is scheduled to wrap this summer.
Depp is heading back to the U.S. for surgery. The film is still set to arrive in theaters on July 7, 2017, Disney confirmed.
