You can always expect interesting news in an election year and that includes celebs who show support for their favorite candidates. The star appearances have started and Katy Perry will perform for Hillary Clinton event this month in Des Moines, Iowa.
The event will be in advance of the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner, an essential stop for Democratic candidates seeking to win the Iowa caucuses.
Last year, when Clinton was on her book tour for “Hard Choices,” Perry attended an event with the former Secretary of State at CAA and told her that she would write a theme song for her “if she needs it.”
Perry played a hand in rallying supporters for President Barack Obama by playing at numerous events during his campaign.
