It’s (gonna be) a boy!

Kimye made an official announcement on Father’s Day that the couple will welcome a baby boy later this year. Mom-to-be Kim Kardashian posted a picture of Kanye with baby North on Instagram and captioned it, “Precious moments like this when we were traveling on tour with you are what I live for. You’re such a good daddy to North & you will be the best daddy to our new son too!”

English has many common nouns, these are nouns that have no gender. They are used as both male and female. However, there are also masculine and feminine nouns in English.

For example:

Kanye will have a boy.

That’s a famous actor.

Kanye is also an uncle.

That bastard broke up with me!

That guy is so cool.

He’s never married and is still a bachelor.

My date was a perfect gentleman.

And for females:

She is my niece.

I have three sisters.

That chick is hot.

That lady is well dressed.

Look at the MILF!

You’re a classy broad.

That cougar is acting crazy!

Now test your knowledge of these nouns. Are they used as male or female? Good luck!
