Less than one year after announcing that they were set to get hitched, E! News has learned that Jaimie Alexander and Peter Facinelli called off their engagement.
Alexander’s reps released a statement saying, “Due to conflicting family and work commitments on opposite coasts, and after much consideration, Peter and Jaimie have chosen to part ways amicable and remain good friends.”
The Nurse Jackie actor was first romantically linked to the Blindspot actress back in November 2012 and the two revealed that they were engaged back in March of last year.
The 42-year-old Twilight star and his former leading lady were last seen together looking like a happy couple at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards back in January.
If you’re keeping up with Instagram posts, Facinelli last posted a photo of Alexander two weeks ago, and the pic shows the pair kissing in a snowy park in Brooklyn.
