The Voice is back with a new season!
It’s the 8th season of the hit show “The Voice“. Christina Aguilera is back, along with original judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton and newbie coach Pharrell.
This season began with the famous blind auditions. So far it has not disappointed it’s fans. The show has already featured many inspiring stories and impressive performances. The blind auditions are part of what makes this show unique. The judges must listen without seeing the contestant before selecting each singer to move forward in the competition. Case in point was the final audition of the first night a shy– long-haired, 15-year-old, farm boy from New York named Sawyer Fredericks. Will he take the whole show?
The last set of blind auditions this week had an emotional moment with Brenna Yaeger. She grew up in a log cabin and works at a general store where she dreams of singing. She sang Miranda Lambert’s “The House That Built Me.” Miranda Lambert is married to Blake so Yaeger was hoping to make his team. She got her wish and chose to join the country star’s team.
