You would think after 10 years on television together they would all attend a wedding, right? Not so. Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry didn’t make the guest list for the surprise Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux wedding.

“I think they’re a great couple. I think she’s happy. And that’s all I care about is that Jen’s happy,” LeBlanc, 48, told PEOPLE at a Television Critics Association press event in Los Angeles. “If she wanted me there, I would have been there.”

Friends stars and BFFs Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow were there at last Wednesday’s nuptials at Aniston and Theroux’s Bel Air home.

Perry, 45, also wished them well, and said he was happy Aniston, 46, and Theroux, 44, were able to pull off the surprise wedding.

“It was a surprise to me as well,” he said. “They’re a lovely couple, and I’m happy for them.”  Asked if he was sorry he wasn’t at the wedding, the star of CBS’s The Odd Couple replied: “I wasn’t invited. So what can you do?”

Well said, don’t you think?

What is the difference between to say and to tell? They have similar meanings but are used differently. Both are irregular verbs.

You “say” something you are speaking or quoting.

I said I don’t like that outfit.

You “tell” someone something. You are usually instructing or providing information.

Please tell me how to get to your apartment.

Tell usually has an indirect object.

I told her the truth.

Practice using these correctly below:

My father _____ he will be there.
My friend _____ me about it.
She _____ he is her boyfriend.
He _____ me to do that.
I want to ____ you a story.
She  _____ it's not fair.
My best friend doesn't _____ secrets to anyone.
I will  _____ you the address.
She is  _____ me a story.
I am going to _____ something to her about it.
