This year’s Academy of Country Music Awards broadcast had no problem scoring a ratings victory Sunday night. It was held in Las Vegas and hosted by Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley.

There were no major snubs and an array of collaborations. Fourteen-time ACM Award winner Reba McEntire performed with Grammy-nominated Christian superstar Lauren Daigle, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill debuted their new single and the Backstreet Boys stole the show with a multi-song duet with country superstars Florida Georgia Line.

Lori McKenna became the first female to win Songwriter of the Year.  Miranda Lambert won her eighth consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year trophy, besting the record she previously held with seven wins in a row.

Jason Aldean took home the night’s top prize, Entertainer of the Year, for the second year in a row. An emotional Thomas Rhett took home his first-ever Male Vocalist of the Year title.
