Are you ready for more superhero action? Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has earned an estimated $20.3 million since opening in China. That includes a $1.35m midnight opening and is the sixth-biggest opening day for an American movie in China. The blockbuster opens in China, America, Japan, and the United Kingdom among others this weekend.
Regardless of the final box-office numbers, the film has already accomplished one major feat. It has successfully debuted Wonder Woman to the franchise.
Wonder Woman, played by Gal Gadot, is set to star in her own spinoff movie, but today she’s fighting alongside Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill).
