The augmented reality activity is now the biggest mobile game in U.S. history, according to a SurveyMonkey.
As of Tuesday this week, “Pokemon Go” attracted just under 21 million daily active users in the United States, some of which are celebrities. John Mayer, Chrissy Teigen and even Wiz Khalifa have posted about being on the hunt for Pokemon. While waiting at the airport in Budapest on Tuesday, July 12, Tyga was spotted ignoring his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, while surveying the land. Nick Jonas’ tour mate Demi Lovato has also gotten distracted by the game.
“Demi just seriously said out loud… ‘There’s no f—kin Pokemon here?!’ #thisisoutofhand @ddlovato,” Nick Jonas tweeted on Tuesday.
John Mayer, however, might be the most dedicated. The singer spent $99.99 for 14,500 PokeCoins on Sunday, July 10.
