Celebrities March For Women. Reading and Vocab

The day after Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th president, protesters took to the streets of Washington, D.C. and other cities around the world to protest Trump’s policies regarding women’s rights as well as human rights. While celebrities stayed away from the inauguration, they came out in droves for women’s marches around the country, with Amy Schumer, Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johansson, Katy Perry, Amy Poehler, Chelsea Handler, Madonna, Lena Dunham, Kerry Washington, Pink, America Ferrera, and Ashley Judd among those lending their voices to show support. And yes, many of them rocked pink pussy hats.
