As if we didn’t already know, Kylie Jenner finally copped to what we have all suspected and known for a while. She uses lip injections.
She has repeatedly denied using fillers or having plastic surgery. Looks like the cat’s out of the bag.
The 17-year-old reality star admits on an upcoming episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians that she uses temporary lip fillers to enhance her lips. Her plump pout has even inspired a viral challenge #kyliejennerlipchallenge that saw kids sucking on shot glasses to make their lips bigger.
“I have temporary lip fillers, it’s just an insecurity of mine, and it’s what I wanted to do,” Jenner says in a clip of the upcoming episode posted to the show’s website and YouTube page.
“I wanted to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything, so I might have tiptoed around the truth, but I didn’t lie,” she says.
What bothers you more…that she “tiptoed around the truth,” that she’s only 17 or that she thought we were all stupid when she insisted it was ONLY lip liner?
Well, since the truth has finally come out, let’s discuss using the words finally, at last and in the end.
Finally is the same as lastly. It introduces the last idea in a series of thoughts. It can also suggest that one has been waiting a long time for something (like an admission :)). When it happens, we say finally.
At last suggests the idea of impatience or inconvenience resulting from a long wait or delay. It can be used at the beginning or end of the sentence.
In the end suggests that something happens after a long time or after a lot changes or uncertainty. It’s used as a conclusion to something that was a long process.
Now let’s practice. Choose the best answer for each sentence. Good luck!
