May 11 was not just any other Monday for Lea Michele. It marks what would have been the 33rd birthday of her late boyfriend and Glee costar, Cory Monteith. To pay tribute to the actor, Michele, 28, tweeted a photo of Monteith playing drums on the set of the former Fox musical series.

Along with the photo, she commemorated the day with a touching message:
“I know you’re serenading everyone right now.. We love you Cory! Happy Birthday..❤️”
Monteith died tragically on July 13, 2013 after overdosing on a combination of alcohol and heroin in his Vancouver hotel room. At the time he had been dating Michele for more than a year.
