Who Has the Most IG Followers? Practicing “More” and “Most”

Beyonce has officially been dethroned by the one and only Kim Kardashian.

With a total of 44.1 million followers, Kardashian officially passed Beyonce’s 44 million on Monday (Aug. 24), reports Tech Insider. The site shared Kardashian and Beyonce’s exact numbers of followers, and the difference isn’t even 70,000 (Kardashian is at 44,005,604 with Beyonce at 43,935,648).

Although the two celebrities have been neck and neck for a long time, Kardashian seems to be gaining followers at a faster rate. This is perhaps due to her chest selfie to help celebrate 42 million followers a couple of weeks ago. Kardashian has also posts about three times as many pictures as Beyonce, sitting at a whopping 3,022 posts when she took over Instagram’s top spot. Who said Kim K. isn’t a savvy business woman?

But wait, the Kardashian that Beyonce should look out for another dark horse. Creeping up on both Beyonce and Kardashian is Taylor Swift, who isn’t far behind with 43.7 followers. Hey, we are just happy with 150! 🙂 Btw, it would make us so happy if you followed us here:
