There’s sad news for one of Hollywood’s most loved couples. Fans everywhere are devastated about reports that Emma Stone and boyfriend, Andrew Garfield, her Amazing Spider-Man costar, are reportedly taking a break from their relationship of three years. Isn’t that typically the way to ease into a real break up? It doesn’t seem promising.

US Weekly reports the two have been having problems, and haven’t been spotted together in public since January.

“They had been fighting a lot and they hadn’t seen each other. They have both been working but they weren’t getting along,” a source tells the magazine. There are other rumors they that have simply drifted apart. Others suggest the two have changed in the wake of their career successes.

Andrew Garfield has reportedly been very busy filming Martin Scorsese’s flick Silence in Taiwan. Meanwhile Emma Stone has been impressing fans on Broadway in Cabaret in New York City. Will the two love birds be able to work it out?
