Hold up, what is Force Friday?

Basically, it’s the first day fans can buy the latest Star Wars toys for the upcoming Force Awakens movie.

Disney, Hasbro, Toys ‘R Us and Lego are some of the companies cashing in on the hype.

September 4th, aka, Force Friday marks the beginning of Star Wars mania with the midnight release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys, collectibles, gadgets, and more. It’s the world’s first chance to own official product celebrating the next installment of the Star Wars saga. Find out more here. May the 4th be with you!

Force Friday is pronounced using the English /F/ sound.

The /F/ sound is unvoiced and is the counterpart to the voiced /V/ sound. They have the same mouth position so these two sounds can be tricky for students to learn.
