Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek made news this week by busting out the “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” rap on Jeopardy!.

Popular in the 1990s and starring Will Smith, chances are you know the words to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song if watched television during those years. And it turns out Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek is familiar with the tune, too.

The host tried his best to rap when an answer came up involving the television show. According to VH1, this isn’t his first time to rap on the show. He previously rapped part of Cypress Hill’s “Insane in the Membrane” and the Beastie Boy’s “Sabotage.” Who knew Alex was so down with the rap?

So this #TBT lets compare the old school original version with the Alex Trebek take on it. Enjoy!
