What the Bleep? Kanye’s Performance at the Billboard Awards. Reading and Vocabulary

One of the more memorable “performances” at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards was by the infamous Kanye West. Most of the other performances went off without a hitch. Then Kanye West came on to close out the show. He performed “All Day” and pulled from his Yeezus album, choosing “Black Skinhead” and the show quickly went off the rails.

For those of us watching at home, there was a lot of smoke and flames and little song to hear. He sang so many explicit lyrics that the network bleepers busy as they muted out large portions of his rap, almost a full minute. On TV, it was just a picture of fire and smoke with no sound and very little Kanye. In fact, you really couldn’t see much at all. What’s a performance without sound or seeing the artist?

As you can expect, his fans had waited over two hours to see him take the stage and weren’t  happy about it.

It would be awesome if half this Kanye performance weren’t completely censored.
